JOHN - THE PROLOGUE (JN 1.1-18)
This is a short series of three episodes which looks at the first eighteen verses of John's gospel. When John writes, he emphasizes Christ's divinity and this view emerges especially in the first part of his gospel.
These verses contain some of the most profound theological statements about Christ's essence found anywhere in the Bible.

The Word
In this episode, we take a look at John's opening description of Jesus as The Word. With just a few well-chosen words, he makes profound theological claims about the one who was born at Christmas. We're reading from John 1.1-5.
Witness and Light
In this episode, we take a look first at John the Baptist, who made it crystal clear that he wasn't the Messiah. Then we examine John's teaching on Jesus as The Light. We're reading from John 1.6-13.
The Word became flesh
In this last episode of the series, we examine the implications of the Word taking on human flesh. He came with an offer to all those who believe: the right to become children of God. We're reading from John 1.14-18.
