Media Partnership Challenges in the past

At GSF2008 Jon Snow (Channel 4 News) launched The Media Partnership Challenge, encouraging students to add a significant media element to their peer education.

The prize for this was won by the students from Stratton Upper School and Community College. As well as carrying out an impressive programme of peer education in their own school and in local primary schools, these students used the resources on the peer educator pack to create an inspirational video which they showed as widely as possible to great effect. You can view and download their video below; we hope that it will encourage and inspire many others to use media in similar positive and creative ways.

On Wednesday 4th March the students were presented with their award by Mike Foster, Minister for International Development, at a ceremony at the DFID headquarters in London. They then met with their local MP, as well as visiting Channel 4 News to see the lunch time news being aired.
