Mission
The Global Student Forum exists to enable school students, of all faiths and none, to think carefully about the spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues underlying global citizenship, and to help others to do the same.
Our vision is to establish the Global Student Forum in each country, and there to provide each year:
- a national conference for students who are about to enter the senior year in their secondary school
- a Peer Educator Pack for them to take back and use in their school
- a copy of all of the materials used in the national conference so that they can run their own local Global Student Forum conference for other schools in their area
The subject covered in each conference (and associated material) will change each year - but will always focus on some aspect of Global Citizenship and will enable the students to think (and then peer-educate) beyond the superficial to the underlying spiritual and moral issues that are raised.
