Suggestion for use
Concepts: Justice; Revenge
This Pollard on Film could be used in a discussion on justice or revenge. God is just and our craving for justice is part of being made in his likeness. Can we draw any parallels between Jack's love and desire for justice and God's feelings for us? God has lovingly promised us complete justice, but in many instances we have to wait for it. Why is it tempting to take the law into our own hands? What does justice achieve where revenge fails? How do hate, bitterness and revenge affect us? How did you respond to the ending of the film? How do you respond to the Bible's description of the end of the world?
