Introducing Pollard on Film

Pollard on Film is written and presented by Nick Pollard, the co-founder of The Damaris Trust.  A regular programme that is a cross between "Film 2008" and "Thought for the Day", Pollard on Film provides:

  • Short videos, which are freely available for viewing on the web.
  • Each programme explores the latest films, encouraging discussion of the spiritual/moral issues that are raised and suggesting biblical parallels to compare and contrast.
  • Any individual or organisation is encouraged to republish the online videos on their website or blog. 
  • High resolution versions are available for download - to play in free public or private events.
  • Integration with Tools for Talks.

To check the programme will suit you and your audience you should:

  • Check the classification
  • Look for any warning within or at the end of the programme. This might, for instance, tell you that the film being covered contains nudity (the PollardonFilm programme won't show that nudity, but we don't want your audience to be surprised if they go and see the film, having watched the PollardonFilm programme).
