Andy Brewster (Seth Rogen) is about to embark on the road trip of a lifetime, and who better to accompany him than
his overbearing mother Joyce (Barbra Streisand). After deciding
to start his adventure with a quick visit at Mum's, Andy is
guilted into bringing her along for the ride. Across 3,000 miles of
ever-changing landscape, he is constantly aggravated by her
antics, but over time he comes to realise that their lives have more in
common than he originally thought. His mother's advice
might end up being exactly what he needs.

Damaris is delighted to provide free resources for a wide range of community groups,
all built around clips
from the film.
Movie Moments are short features that use clips from the film to spark discussion and reflection about personal, everyday
life issues.
These two features explore the questions "As our children become independent adults how can we relate to them in new and positive ways?" and "As we become independent adults, how can we appreciate our parents in new and thankful
ways?"
The Leader's Guide is an essential companion for all our resources.
Providing all you need to put on an event around the film (for a
few friends or a large group) it contains template posters,
invitations, themed recipes, quizzes, discussion questions and
background information. Download it as a pdf or request a free printed
book with a DVD of all the resources.
The Leader's Guide is suitable for all different types of
community groups. We also provide Supplementary Resources for Churches who want to delve more deeply into the spiritual issues raised by the film.
