The Iron Lady tells the compelling story of Margaret Thatcher, a woman who broke through the barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male-dominated world.

This film raises a host of big life issues such as overcoming prejudice; balancing family and career; making a mark; coping with change; celebrating achievement and dealing with regret.

The free resources below will enable church and community groups to run discussions examining the many life issues featured in the film. You can either use one of the six individual discussion guides to run a simple discussion, or run a full Film & Focus event, taking a group to see the film and then providing food and quizzes as well as discussion of one or more of the issues raised.

These free Film & Focus resources will enable churches and community groups to help people think about some of the important life-issue themes in the film. Take a group to see the film, then lay on a fun and thought-provoking evening of food, quizzes and chat.

The package includes:

  • Downloadable clips from The Iron Lady and specially-produced videos, to stimulate discussion (see above to preview each video)
  • Discussion questions, drawing out the main themes of the film

Film & Focus

This Film & Focus package includes the six individual guides and their related videos, so you don't need to download them separately. You can choose to use one or more of the themes in your evening.

Order all of our resources completely free in the post. This resources package contains a DVD featuring the videos above plus printed versions of the discussion guide material to make things even easier for you when running an event or discussion group.
